Windows 7 is the follow up of Vista, which fixes alot of the complaints that users had with Vista. Windows 7 runs smoothly, even on netbooks that don’t have much power. Some users even say that it runs faster than XP. Today at midnight you’ll be able to pre-order Windows 7 from many website but i recommend the following:

The Pre-order will be $50 for Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade or $100 for Windows 7 Professional Upgrade. Home Premium is really what every one needs unless you work in tech support. This is an update so you will have to have a Xp or Vista already installed.

Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade will go for $119.99  while Professional will be $199.99.

So this is a big saving. Especially if you buy it from Walmart using BING (Microsofts search engine that gives you cashback on your purchases). Bing will give you about 2-5% cash back on the walmart purchase and if i’m not mistaken also includes free shipping. Remember your copy will be arriving Oct.10.

Wired Magazine

Wired is an excellent magazine with all sorts of information about various topics.

The latest one that i received is talking about the Truth about Cancer. Very interesting topic considering that most of us know, or has known of someone with cancer. The key is early detection, because if the cancer is detected in its first phase, the individual has a high chance of surviving. Yet if its late the survival rate drops more then 50%. 

The latests one mentions the GPS craze. Haven't read it yet, but looks interesting. I was going to provide a link for a free subscription to WIRED, but i think the offer expired so here's a link to another magazine
